New members are always welcome

We’re a small, friendly choir open to anybody who loves singing.

There's no need to read music or have any choir experience, as we learn all songs by ear. There are no auditions. Just come along.

Our members include musicians, students and professionals of all ages, people with lots of choir and music experience and people with none at all. There is no minimum commitment - you can attend when you can.

We sing a great range of music including contemporary folk and some more traditional and roots type music, with a splash of jazz and music from around the world.

On Thursdays from 6.30-8.30pm you'll find us singing and socialising. And a few drinks at the pub after rehearsals never go amiss!

If you’re interested in coming along, singing some songs and meeting new people, feel free to just turn up at 6.30 on a Thursday - see below for venue details.

You can also get in touch on castlechorus[at]gmail[dot]com and we can answer any questions you may have. You can also subscribe to our choir mailing list below to get information about rehearsals, performances, etc.
