We meet Thursdays 6.30-8.30pm at University of Edinburgh 40 George Square Room LG (lower Ground) 11.

Term Dates and Fees - Winter (Jan to March 2024)

Thursdays- 18th January - 21st March (10 sessions) - Note this will be followed by a two week break returning 11th April. We will have a workshop and performance during this break.

£7 full fee / £3 concession drop-in rate – cash or card accepted

£65 whole-term payment (£25 concession)

You can pay in person every time you attend (we have a card reader). However, bulk payment is slightly discounted from the drop-in rate for 10 sessions, and is our preferred payment option for those who can afford it. As ever, fees should not be a barrier to anyone attending, and if you are not in a position to pay a fee, just have a word with Anne, Joe, or Caro and we can waive it altogether. Castle Chorus Connections

We have a private Facebook group for our members to share socially which you are welcome to join if you sing with us. Our Facebook page covers our public facing announcements and our YouTube channel is where we share any music we share online. We also have some recordings on Facebook and SoundCloud (see below)

Castle Chorus - how we work

Castle Chorus is run by a voluntary committee who are informally elected at our AGM. They work with our Musical Director Caro Overy to organise concerts, workshops, other creative projects for the choir and our weekend away. Caro is employed on a freelance basis as our Musical Director and paid according to Musicians’ Union rates for her work. The committee manages our choir finances and bank account and they provide an ‘accountability filter’ of sorts for Caro!
